Call for nominations – 2021 Pistol Australia National Development Squad

Do you want to progress your ISSF pistol shooting to the next level? Pistol Australia are looking for junior and young athletes who have what it takes to become a National Team athlete and eventually progress to the Shooting Australia Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games teams.

Pistol Australia provides a National Development program whose purpose is to identify talented young ISSF pistol shooters and work with them and their coaches to develop their skills to allow them to progress to the elite level.

The Pistol Australia National Development program will provide you with:

  • Access to high level mentors (Olympic Medallists)
  • High level coaching
  • An individualised weekly training program which includes strength, conditioning and skills programs
  • Training camps at the Australian Institute of Sport throughout the year
  • Elite level sport science support

We are looking specifically for athletes who want to progress to the highest level of our sport. If you and/or your coach believe that you have the drive and dedication to progress to the elite levels of our sport, then please forward an email to the PA National Development Coach Joseph Kapitanof at joseph.kapitanof@pistol.org.au or call him on 0419 624 539 to discuss your options.
