
2022 Pistol Australia Awards

Pistol Australia in conjunction with all States and Territories is proud to announce the launch of the 2022 Pistol Australia Awards. The awards recognise the achievements of the Australian Pistol Community.
The 2022 Award Categories are:
Athlete of the Year – Male
Athlete of the Year – Female
Athlete of the Year – Junior
Team of the Year – International
Team of the Year – National
WSPS shooter of the Year
Coach of the Year
Official of the Year
Club of the Year
Volunteer of the Year
Social Media Contributor of the Year
Nominations in writing must be sent to Noel Harrod at noel.harrod@pistol.org.au marked 2022 PA Award Nomination before cob 28th February 2023. The nomination must include as a minimum the following information.
- Full Name and contact address of Nominee
- Full Name and contact address of Nominator
- Category of Nomination
- Summary of reasons for nomination – a maximum of 200 words please.
Please note Nominations will be shared with the relevant State/Territory for their comments and endorsement.
The awards will be presented at the Annual Presentation Dinner held at the end of the 2023 Pistol Australia/ISSF National Championships at Crocosaurus Cove in Darwin City on Sunday 14 May 2023. The Awards presentation will be live streamed as part of a special Range Report Show.
Nominations open today (21st November 2022) and close on 28th February 2023. Nominations can be made by any current financial member of Pistol Australia. The selection panel comprising one Pistol Australia Nominee and two State and Territory Nominees will evaluate all nominations and decide on the winner in each category.
