I have been involved in pistol shooting at both State & National level for over 40 years. I am a past President of Pistol Australia, West Australian Pistol Association and the Cockburn-Fremantle Pistol Club. I have been Team Manager to many Australian overseas shooting teams. I hold an ISSF Judge “A” license. I still enjoy shooting and in particular competing in Masters Games.

First Vice President - Stephen Fettell

I have been associated with target shooting all my life.  Firstly, as  a Junior National Champion in Big Bore Rifle; and then NSW and ACT State Pistol Team member and Pistol Australia National Team Training Squad (NTTS) member.  I have continued to be active in the competition and administrative aspects of pistol shooting including:

  • ACT Team Manager and competitor;
  • President Canberra National Pistol Club 1992-present;
  • Member of  the ACT Firearms Consultative Council since its' inception;
  • Licensed ACT Firearms Dealer;
  • Licensed ACT Firearms Instructor;
  • Pistol Australia Range Officer in ISSF;
  • Pistol Australia accredited holster instructor;
  • Pistol Australia Judge in Action Match and Service Pistol matches;
  • ACT Pistol Association Executive Officer to Pistol Australia, 1992-2012;
  • AISL accredited Pistol Coach; and
  • Pistol Australia 1st Vice President 2012 -
Second Vice President - David Dewsbury

I have been involved in Pistol shooting for 29 years, joining the Narrabri pistol club in 1982.  During this time I have held positions of President, Vice President and Committee person and I still play an active role in the development of the club.  I have also held the position of committee person on the NSWAPA, I was then the APSUA Metallic Silhouette Director for several years, I am a Judge A in Metallic Silhouette and a level 1 coach.  I try to shoot as many pistol disciplines as I can, mainly concentrating on metallic Silhouette.  My shooting achievements over the years have been at State, National and International level.

Secretary - Jenny Gregory

Along with husband Doug, I joined what is now Canberra National Pistol Club in 1974 and have been an active and enthusiastic shooter since that time.  As they grew older, our sons Craig and Scott joined the Club, competing at Club, State and National events.

Since that time I think I’ve done some of everything connected with our sport – I’ve been a member of ACT Pistol Teams, Secretary of the Club, Secretary and now President of ACT Pistol Association, instructed new shooters and trained range officials, organized Opens and a myriad of other Club events, as well as being part of Organising Committees for four National Championships.  With only a few exceptions, Doug and I have attended and competed in every ISSF/PA National Championships since 1978.

I have progressed through the ranks to Judge A and International Judge level and this has led me to officiating at competitions in many parts of the world.  I count my participation at Sydney’s Olympic and Paralympic Games and Melbourne’s Commonwealth Games as standout highlights of my involvement in pistol shooting.

Treasurer - Enseieh Rezaei

I joined the Gladstone Pistol Club in 2012, started Air Pistol shooting and broke to “B” Grade after 8 months of shooting.  My husband and I moved to Melbourne in 2014, and now I am a member of Melbourne International Pistol Club. In March 2016, I competed in my 1st National Shooting competition and placed 9th which I am very proud of.

I have a Master of Professional Accounting Degree from CQU and have been working as an Accountant since 2011. I became a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2015. Currently I am working as Senior Accountant at a boutique Public Practice Accounting Firm.
